08 December 2006 - An Elvis tribute Show takes place at Lagoa, in the Algarve, organized by Natasha Luckman and performed by the impersonator João Lino. The concert had per goal the promotion of the work of this impersonatior and also the collecting of a donation of the Voluntary Firemen of Lagoa. Elvis 100% helped promote the initiative among all its contacts and also through this website. Click.

01 December 2006 - Célia Carvalho and José João Simões, of Elvis 100% Board of Directors, are interviewed by the young senior student of Journalism of the College of Social Communication, Teresa Sequeira, to make a report/work af the year end.

19, 24, 25 and 26 March 2006 - The theater play "Without a Song - Elvis, a Rock Story" has other exhibitions, at the same venue. Click.

18 March 2006 - Correio da Manhã newspaper publishes a small article on the premiere of the theater play "Without a Song - Elvis, a Rock Story". To read the article, Click. The Theater Group Disfarces premieres its play on this very day.

17 March 2006 - Renascença Radio airs 5 publicity spots throughout the day, with excerpts of an interview done to Célia Carvalho and publicity to Elvis 100% and the theater play "Without a Song - Elvis, a Rock Story". 15 March 2006 - The Diário Digital publishes in their website an article on the theather play "Without a Song", titled "Elvis Fan Club Pays Tribute to the King of Rock on the 18th". 14 March 2006 - The newspaper Jornal de Notícias publishes an article titled "Birth of 'King of Rock' in Theather Play", on the joint initiative of the Theater Group Disfarces and Elvis 100%. January 2005 - Edition Nº 23 of Elvis 100% magazine is out. To know more about its contents, Click. To mark the 70th Elvis Birthday, this magazine has 4 more pages in colour, besides its cover. Every member was also offered an Elvis photograph.

November 2004 - Edition Nº 17 of Elvis 100% magazine is out. To know more about its contents, Click. This is the last issue to come out in English, after two years publishing the edition simultaneously in both languages.

25 September 2004 - To mark the 27th anniversary on Elvis' death, a social-lunch took place at Café da Palha Restaurant, in Parque das Nações. Click.

17 January 2004 - The party to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Fan Club and Elvis' 69th birthday takes place, where several artists and friends got together to celebrate the event, in a dinner followed by a live performance. If you want to know how it was, Click.

January 2004 - Edition Nº 12 of Elvis 100% magazine is out. In it a party to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Fan Club and the 69th birthday of Elvis is announced, to take place on January 17th. To know about its contents, Click

14 December 2003 - The Board of Directors of Elvis 100% visit the premises of Acreditar Association to hand over the donation from all its members, which was collected throughout the year. If you want to know what we have donated, Click. The Fan Club honours the member Stuart Oldfield with the prize "Super Member of 2003".

06 November 2003 - The Ist Elvis Presley Plastic Arts Biennial is inaugurated, at Galeria Gravura, which will be held until November 12th. TSF Radio advertises the event in one of its news bulletins, after an interview with Henrique Tigo and a report on the Gallery. To know what happened, Click.

01 November 2003 - Rádio Clube Português, through the advertising of Dora Isabel, spreads the word on the Ist Elvis Presley Plastic Arts Biennial.

30 October 2003 - Rádio Renascença, through the advertising of António Freire, does an interview to Henrique Tigo, during the programme "Feitiço da Lua", on the Ist Elvis Presley Plastic Arts Biennial.

27 September 2003 - In a joint initiative with Lisbon's City Hall and Elvis 100%, the monument Padrão dos Descobrimentos screens the concert Aloha From Hawaii, 30 years after it was broadcasted via satellite for the whole word for the first time. To know how it went, Click.

8 July 2003 - Site http://www.novaodivelas.com has published the following news: "Portuguese artists are exhibiting works overseas - H. Mourato and Henrique Tigo are exhibiting in the United States. Plastic artists Master H. Mourato and Henrique Tigo, who live in Amadora, received a very special request to exhibit their works in Graceland, home of the legendary Elvis Presley, King of Rock'n'Roll for the 19th Elvis Annual Art..." 25 May 2003 - C.N.O.D. (Confederação Nacional dos Organismos de Deficientes - National Confederation of the Organisms for the Disabled) has published on its weekly bulletin web site some information on the 1st Elvis Presley Plastic Arts Biennial. 1 February  2003 - the members met at Café da Palha to celebrate the Fan Club's 2nd anniversary and Elvis 68th birthday. To access the information and photos on this initiative, Click.  

January 2003 - edition Nº 6 of Elvis 100% magazine is sent out to all the members. To celebrate Elvis' 68th birthday and Elvis 100%'s second anniversary, this magazine includes 2 coloured pages besides its cover as well as publicity on the third issue of the new magazine collection this Fan Club has started - 100% - Aloha 2003. In order to know its contents, Click On the same edition the forth competition by the Fan Club is announced, the challenge is "To Which Movie Does It Belong?". The prize is The Home Recordings CD, Click. The second charity campaign is also announced. The benefited entity is Acreditar Association (the donation will be handed over during Christmas time of the same year) Click. Yet another initiative is announced: Elvis 100% 2003 - I Elvis Plastic Arts Biennial, an exhibition that will include several variants. To know more details, Click. The Fan Club honours the member Ticia Beudet with the prize "Super Member of 2002".
During 2002, the Fan Club offered all its members an Elvis key-ring for their birthdays.

27 December 2002 - José João Simões, member of the Board of Directors of Elvis 100%, was interviewed live at "Companhia da Música" (Music Company) programme of Renascença Radio, since he was the winner of the competition this radio promoted. José João was the one who gave more correct answers on Elvis and won a guitar. During the programme there was still time to mention the Fan Club and its activitites. Click

27 November 2002 - on November 27th, 28th and 29th, Estarreja's High School did an "Elvis Week", where several activities were developed. They asked Elvis 100%'s help and, of course, we felt delighted to cooperate.

21 September 2002 - the third social lunch among several members of Elvis 100% takes place, at Café da Palha restaurant. Among other things, a gift was given to all the members and a raffle was done on a beautiful t-shirt, with a drawing of our French member, Ticia Beudet. If you want to know how it went, Click.

September 2002 - Nº 4 edition of Elvis 100% magazine is out for all members. In order to know its contents, Click. A brochure with the activities of "Elvis Week" in Memphis in August 2002 is sent to everybody. Elvis 100% also promotes its forth competition, titled, "Who is Standing Beside Elvis?". The prize is a beautiful Elvis wrist watch Click .

17 August 2002 - Carlos Santos represents Elvis 100% for the last time at the TV show Passeio dos Alegres (RTP). 

15 August 2002 - Célia Carvalho and Olga Susana have a private meeting with Patsy Andersen, Marketing & Communications Manager of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., to discuss some important matters related to this Fan Club. On the same night, they attend the 24th Candlelight Vigil, in Graceland. 

13 August 2002 - Célia Carvalho and Olga Susana are present at the event dedicated to the presidents (and vice-presidents) of the worldwide fan clubs, which took place in Libertyland, the amusement park Elvis used to rent in Memphis. Read the story Célia wrote on the subject, Click

07 August 2002 - The vice-president of Elvis 100%, Célia Carvalho, as well as the member Olga Susana Gabriel, leave Portugal with Tupelo and Memphis as their destination, to attend to all the events during Elvis Week. They return on August, 18th Click.

27 July 2002 - Elvis 100% is present at the TV show Passeio dos Alegres (RTP), represented by our member Humberto Ladeira. The theme is the 25th anniversary over Elvis' death and a competition that this TV show is going to make, the prize for the winner being a trip to Graceland Click.

May 2002 - Nº 2 edition of Elvis 100% magazine is out. To know what its contents are, Click.

16 March 2002 - through the cooperation of Lisbon's Town Hall, Elvis 100% organizes a screening of NBC TV Special, 1968 at Videoteca Municipal de Lisboa Click. The majority part of the present people had never seen this TV special before. Diário de Notícias Newspaper publishes an article about this initiative Click and Correio da Manhã Newspaper mentions the event in their weekly agenda.

March 2002 - Nº 1 edition of Elvis 100% magazine is out for all the members, together with a free poster and publicity on the second number of the new magazine collection the Fan Club began - 100% - Tiger Man, 1968. To know more, Click. On the same edition the third competition of this Fan Club is promoted, the challenge was "In Which City is Elvis?". The prize was Born To Be King CD, Click.

07 February 2002 - SIC TV Channel did a report on Casa de Betânia, following the article published by the newspaper Jornal da Região de Oeiras after the charity campaign Elvis 100% did. This is great for this institution, since it will motivate more help from private organizations/people and companies. We are happy to have been the ones who encouraged this initiative by SIC. 

February 2002 - the February/March edition of the English Fan Club publishes a whole page of publicity to Elvis 100% (page 50), with all the information available in the first English newsletter that this fan club sent to several places of the Elvis world. On this same edition, on the serious "The World's Most Respected Fan Club", by the accredited Anne E.Nixon, the author mentions Célia Carvalho's presence in Memphis, in August 1997, and the article the Vice-President of this fan club wrote and published in the magazine of the English fan club. These are Anne Nixon's words: "A truly absorbing and heartfelt account of the 20th anniversary tour to Memphis was to be found in the February/March '98 Fan Club magazine, penned by Celia Carvalho of Portugal. The young lady described all her emotions at being at Graceland for the first time, and how thrilled she had been to have received one of the commemorative keys from the mayor of Tupelo. The mayor had told her that it represented the key to their hearts as well as their town, and that Tupelo would always welcome everybody." 28 January 2002 - ElvisNews.Com site compliments once again the first English edition of this Fan Club. 17 January 2002 - The local newspaper of Oeiras (the disctrict where Elvis 100% has got its P.O. Box and Casa de Betânia is located), Jornal das Regiões de Oeiras publishes an article on their front page about the Fan Club and Casa de Betânia regarding the results of our charity campaign towards this institution Click

12 January 2002 - the first Elvis 100% anniversary is celebrated, as well as Elvis' birthday, who would have been 67 years old. The anniversary lunch took place at the Oh! Hipólito Restaurant  which is the oldest restaurant of Lisbon's amusement park (it opened in 1958). The restaurant offered the champaigne and the management informed they are willing to help us in future events, therefore becoming our sponsor on that same day. Many members were present, some new faces who didn't know each other personally yet Click

January 2002 - every member receives edition Nº 0 of Elvis 100% Magazine (Nº 5 in Portuguese) Click. This is the first magazine issued both in Portuguese and English, for the foreign members of this fan club. We have offered all members an Elvis calendar of the new year. In January Elvis 100% has the cooperation of yet another sponsor Restaurant "O Furo" (they offered a birthday cake for the anniversary party of the 1st birhtday of the Fan Club).
During 2001, the Fan Club offered every member an Elvis photo/postcard for their birthdays.

22nd December 2001 - Elvis 100% delivers its donation to Casa de Betânia, following the charity campaign during the year. It consists of: 1 Lexmark printer and 1 Art CD (commercial value of 31.900 PTE / 159,12 €) and a cheque in the value of 26.500 PTE / 132,18 € (which makes a total of 58.400 PTE / 291,30 €). We also offered the residents of this institution an Elvis CD with gospel and Christmas songs Click.

21 December 2001 - Elvis 100% web site is online for the first time, with complete Portuguese and English versions (precisely 11 months after this Fan Club was created). 

07 December 2001 - Elvis 100% distinguishes member Serafim Cortizo with the award "Super Member 2001" - a framed certificate which recognizes the participation and the support this member has given to the Fan Club. The idea consists in rewarding a different member every year.

01 December 2001 - Correio da Manhã Newspaper publishes a letter Elvis 100% sent following an article this newspaper published on the 10th November on a TV programme broadcasted by People & Arts (theme - Graceland, 17th November). This same article had some mistakes, which we took the liberty to correct in a letter addressed to Correio da Manhã on the 19th November Click

23 November 2001 - a review to Elvis 100% magazine Nº 4 is published on ElvisNews.Com site by the editors responsbile for this such important web page. The review is quite positive. Some comments: "It's a pitty we can't read Portuguese, since the 40 pages are packed with information... many beautiful Elvis photos in it... reveals teamwork... this Official Portuguese Elvis Fan Club is updated on all the news in Elvis world... the good news is that this magazine will also have an English edition." 11 November 2001 - Elvis 100% receives a valuable gift from the Master Carlos Albino da Rocha Ferreira, who generously donates two beautiful works-of-art, a sketch in coal (estimated value: 997,60 € / 200.000$00) and another in oil (estimated value 1.247,00 € / 250.000$00). They are now the proud patrimony of this Fan Club Click.

November 2001 - Elvis 100% Magazine - Nº 4 (40 pages) Click is out. An Elvis A3 poster is sent out and the initiative "Worldwide Elvis 100%!" is explained in detail.

October 2001 - at the end of this month a newsletter is sent at a world level (to around 100 different destinations) to announce that, from January 2002 onwards, the edition of Elvis 100% Magazine will have a simultaneous edition in English. Goal: to be able to cross the Portuguese borders and get members all over the world.

27 and 29 October 2001 - by suggestion and intiative of Elvis 100% Club, Cinemateca presents King Creole (the Portuguese subtitles done by Elvis 100%) and Spinout (Portuguese subtitles done by Cinemateca). 130 persons attend to both sessions of Elvis movies on the theater at Palácio Foz, in Lisbon Click

29 October 2011 - Diário de Notícias Newspaper publishes an article about the showing of Spinout movie Click. 

27 October 2001 - Expresso Newspaper publishes a small article about the mini-cycle of Elvis movies Click.

22 October 2001 - Correio da Manhã Newspaper publishes an article on the mini-cycle of Elvis movies and interviews Célia Carvalho, Vice-President of this Club Click.

15 September 2001 - the first Club's party Click takes place, in Alhandra, at Roxy Romeo Bar. On the party 3 prizes were given on a competion (1 video cassete and 2 CD's) and the auction of a beautiful Elvis portrait took place. 

8 September 2001 - Correio da Manhã Newspaper publishes an article on the first Club's party, which will take place on the 15th of the same month and Sandra Raquel Santos is interviewed Click. On this edition's cover it is advertised: "Elvis 100% Brings the King to the Big Screen in Portugal...!". An explanatory brochure on this initiative is send out to all members, as well as a copy of Cinemateca's (Cinemateca is the Portuguese Museum of Cinema) monthly publication. On that publication Cinemateca mentions Elvis 100% Fan Club Click.

September 2001 - Elvis 100% Magazine - Nº 3 is out (40 pages) Click. In September the second competition is announced, titled "Find the Mistakes and Win!". It consisted in discovering the maximum of mistakes in a false Elvis Presley biography. The prize was a video cassette of That's The Way It Is II and Elvis Talks! CD Click. 

16 August 2001 - SIC (Portuguese TV channel) makes a report on Elvis 100%, which takes around 10 minutes and is shown on the 08.00pm and 02.00am news. The interviewed members were Carlos Santos, President of this Club, and member Humberto Ladeira Click. On the same day Elvis 100% does 5 publicity spots on Rádio Nostalgia. In August we engross our sponsors, this time through Cacilgráfica (company responsible for the final cutting and stappling of our magazine).

July 2001Elvis 100% Magazine - Edition Nº 2 (36 pages) Click is out and we offer every member an Elvis A4 poster. On that  magazine we announce the First Charity Campaign. The donation will be handed to Casa de Betânia (the donation is handed out on Christmas of the same year) Click. In July this Club obtains EPE's permission to produce promotional material (t-shirts and caps). Its logotype is also registered by EPE. Also in this month our sponsors reach the number 4 with the cooperation of Rui Pais Design Publicitário (for the free production of advertising material for the Club). 

30 June 2001 - Elvis 100% was present at the 3rd Pop Rock Festival of the Sixties, in Cascais, by invitation of Associação Anos 60 (Association of the Sixties), sharing the publicity booth of this entity.

2 June 2001 - a lunch takes place at Café da Palha Restaurant Click, in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon. Many members participated and met personally for the first time.

June 2001 - Inside Newspaper publishes an article on its June edition on Elvis 100% Fan Club Click

May 2001 - Elvis 100% Magazine - Edition Nº1 is out (36 pages) Click and a total of 53 members is announced. On the same magazine the first Extra Magazine Click of the Club is advertised for selling, titled "Elvis in Portugal - The Best of Elvis", A4 format, 40 pages and central A3 coloured poster, for 1.200$00 / 6,00 €. Associação Anos 60 (Association of the Sixties) Click becomes a member of the Club in May. Elvis 100% announces its first competition, titled, "To Organize and Win!" - which consisted in putting the record covers of Elvis records sent in order by chronological release to the market Click. The prize for the winner is an Elvis 1,000 pieces puzzle. Still during this month Elvis 100% announces 3 sponsors: Lexmark (for the donation of a printer and an art CDR), Ourivesaria Fontão (for the production of all the membership cards) and Diagonal Studios (for the offer of photographic reproductions to all members).

9 March 2001 - TV Mais Magazine publishes an article about the creation of the Club Click.

March 2001 - Elvis 100% Magazine - Edition Nº 0 is out (32 pages) Click and, on the same month, the Club was officially recognized by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., being the 614th active Fan club in the world, according to the last update of the World Guinness Book of Records. Also in the same month, the Club starts a campaign to get new members. Whoever brought 5 members to the Club would receive two prizes.

18 February 2001 - Correio da Manhã Newspaper publishes an article about the creation of this Club, which brings many members Click for the Fan Club.

21 January 2001 - Elvis 100% - Still Rockin’! was created as a non profitable organization.
