After Loving You foi escrita por Eddie Miller e Johnny Lantz e gravada por Joe Henderson (Todd 1077) em 1962. Elvis gravou a canção no American Sound Studios em 18 de Fevereiro de 1969. Em 17 de Outubro de 1980, Felton Jarvis acrescentou um novo instrumental para After Loving you no Young 'Un Sound em Nasvhille. A nova versão foi lançada no álbum Guitar Man.
