Informação:
Arthur Gunther escrever e gravou Baby, Let's Play House (Excelle 2047) em finais de 1954. Muito embora tenha conseguido ser muito passada na rádio no Sul, a sua gravação não entrou para as tabelas nacionais. Gunther baseou-se na canção número um de Eddy Arnold, êxito de country de 1951, I Want To Play House With You (RCA 0476). Uns poucos de anos mais tarde, a gravação de Gunther inspirou John Lennon a escrever Run For Your Life.

Elvis gravou Baby, Let's Play House em 5 de Fevereiro de 1955, nos estúdios da Sun. O apoio instrumental foi disponibilizado por Scotty Moore na guitarra, Bill Black no contra-baixo e Elvis na guitarra ritmo. Baby, Let's Play House chegou à 10ª posição na tabela Country Best-Seller da Billboard e à 5ª posição na tabela Country Disc Jockey em Julho de 1955 - a primeira canção de Elvis a entrar para uma tabela. Permaneceu na tabela durante 15 semanas. Elvis cantou Baby, Let's Play House com frequência em tournée durante 1955 e na sua segunda apresentação no Stage Show (4 de Fevereiro de 1956).

Em 7 de Maio de 1956, o Johnny Burnette Trio gravou uma canção intitulada Oh Baby Babe para a Coral Records (Coral 61675) que foi uma cópia exacta (até alguma da letra original é repetida) de Baby, Let's Play House de Elvis. Buddy Holly gravou uma versão da gravação de Elvis no seu LP Holly In The Hills (Coral 57463), intitulando-a I Wanna Play House With You. Em 1963, o imitador de Elvis, Vice Everett, gravou Baby, Let's Play House para a ABC-Paramount Records (ABC-Paramount 10472).

distribuído na área de Memphis-Tupelo para iniciar as celebrações anuais do 50º 
aniversário de Elvis.
