With text and
staging by José Serradas and production by Carlos Fontoura, the
universal premiere is scheduled for the 18th March 2006, at
22:00 p.m., in Passagem de Nível Theater, Commercial Center
Colina do Sol, at Amadora.
The play presents itself as something
completey new in Portugal, since so far nothing similar has ever
happened in this country.
"Without a Song - Elvis, a Rock Story" - a tribute to a time and
to a figure who translated the eagerness to express rebelry and will to
live and be free: Elvis Presley, the image and the backstage. The show
and the shadow. A celebration of rock as a way of expression of a
generation. Brief life and death, the birth of a myth."
