Ruth Batchelor and Bob Roberts wrote Because of Love for Elvis’s 1962 movie Girls! Girls! Girls! Elvis’s recording session took place in March 1962 at Radio Recorders. In late 1962 Billy Fury covered Elvis’s recording and reached the top 20 on the British charts.
