That's All Right (mama) / Blue Moon Of Kentucky

Released: July 19th 1954

Elvis' first 45, “That’s All Right” is now considered a classic and has been acknowledged a million-seller over the years, Elvis' debut single originally sold less than 20,000 copies and  didn’t enter any national charts. On the local Memphis chart, “That’s All Right” reached the number 4 position and in September “Blue Moon Of Kentucky” hit number 1.

Good Rockin' Tonight / I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine

Released: September 25th 1954

Elvis’ second 45 wasn't released to the national chart, “Good Rockin’ Tonight” reached the number 3 slot on the Memphis chart. And has recently been acknowledged as a million-seller.

Baby, Let's Play House / I'm Left, Your Right, She's Gone

Released: April 10th 1955

On July 6th, 1955, Baby Let's Play House reached the number 10 slot on Billboard's Country chart. It remained on the chart for fifteen weeks

Mystery Train / I Forgot To Remember To Forget

Released: August 1955

Both sides of this 45 reached number 1 on the Country chart on September 7th 1955, and it stayed on the chart for forty weeks

Elvis had only five records on Sam Phillips' Sun label, before his move to RCA, all five were released simultaneously as 45's and 78's

Heartbreak Hotel / I Was The One

Released: January 1956

Heartbreak Hotel made Billboard's Hot 100 chart on February 22 1956, it became Elvis' first national number 1, it remained on the chart  for twenty seven weeks and stayed at number 1 for seven weeks. On the same day it reached number 1 on the Country charts also for twenty seven weeks. It made the Rhythm & Blues chart on April 4th 1956 at the number 5 slot, it remained on this chart for thirteen weeks. I Was The One reached number 23 on the Hot 100 chart on February 29th 1956, and stayed on the chart for sixteen weeks.
This 45 was released in the UK in March 1956 on His Master's Voice Label, catalogue No.7m 385, it had gold lettering on a purple label, and was later done in silver lettering and reached the number 2 slot

I Want You, I Need You, I Love You / My Baby Left Me

Released: May 1956

I Want You, I Need You, I Love You entered Billboard's Hot 100 chart on May 16th 1956 at the number 3 position, it remained on this chart for twenty four weeks. The Country chart had I Want You, I Need You, I Love You  at number 1 on May 23rd, it remained on the Country chart for twenty weeks. On June 6th this song was number 10 on the Rhythm & Blues chart where it remained for eleven weeks. My Baby Left Me entered the Hot 100 chart at number 3 on May 16th, it entered the Country chart on May 23rd at the number 1 slot and stayed on the chart for twenty weeks, with I Want You, I Need You, I Love You.
July 1956 was the release date for this single on the His Master's Voice label, catalogue No. 7m 424 with a purple label with gold or silver lettering, it reached number 14 on the UK chart

Hound Dog / Don't Be Cruel

Released: July 1956

Hound Dog was on the Hot 100 chart on July 25th 1956, at the number 2 slot, it remained on the chart for twenty eight weeks, it entered the Country chart on the same day at the number 1 position and remained for twenty nine weeks. The Rhythm & Blues chart listed Hound Dog at number 1 on August 8th, it stayed on this chart for eight weeks.
Don't Be Cruel was number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart on August 8th 1956 and stayed on this chart for twenty seven weeks and was number 1 for seven of these weeks. The Country chart had this song at number 1 on July 25th, it remained on the chart for twenty nine weeks. The number 1 position for this song on the Rhythm  Blues chart on August 8th where it would stay for eight weeks, one week at number 1.
September 1956 was the date for this release, it reached number 2 on the UK chart, released on the His Master's Voice, with gold or silver lettering on a purple label, catalogue No. POP 249
