The Alternate Aloha

This disc contains the Aloha rehearsal show from Honolulu on 12 January 1973 in soundboard quality. This show has already been available in it’s entirety on a BMG/RCA release but the mix on that release was so terrible that most fans did not like it. This disc does not contain any fancy remixes and is much better than the released version. To cap it all off as a bonus there is the Aloha interview from the previous year and the five bonus songs Elvis did after the broadcast for inclusion in the Special. A worthwhile release.

There are at least three versions of this disc. The original cover is pictured above. It is also available as a numbered copy which also has a picture under the CD tray. The third version has yellow writing on the cover instead of blue and the disc also carries yellow writing instead of blue. Also on this third version the reference number changes to SR 1973 instead of SP 1973.
