"Surrender" was number 1 on the Hot 100 chart on February 26th 1961, it remained on the chart for twelve weeks, 2 weeks at the number 1 slot.  "Lonely Man"  entered the chart on March 5th 1961, in the number 32 position, it remained on the chart for five weeks.

RCA entered this 45 in the UK on May 30th 1961 (RCA 1227) and it reached number 1 on the chart.
