Billboard's Hot 100 posted "I Feel So Bad" in the number 5 slot on May 21st 1961, it stayed on the chart for nine weeks. The R&B chart placed the song at number 15 on June 11th, it remained on this chart for three weeks. "Wild In The Country" was number 26 on the Hot 100 chart on June 11th, it stayed on the chart for five weeks.

RCA entered this 45 in the UK on September 13th 1961 (RCA 1244), this 45 had the sides reversed with “Wild In The Country” as the A-side, it reached the number 4 slot on the chart.
