 Number 8 was the position that "Bossa Nova Baby"  held upon entering Billboard's Hot 100 chart on October 19th 1963, it remained on the chart for ten weeks, "Bossa Nova Baby" was the last record to enter the R&B chart for Elvis, it was number 20 on this chart on November 16th 1963 and stayed on the chart for two weeks. "Witchcraft" entered the Hot 100 chart on October 19th at the number 37 position and remained on the chart for seven weeks.

RCA released this single in the UK (RCA 1374), in October 1963 and would enter  the chart on October 30th 1963, it reached the number 13 slot on the chart.
