 On June 19th 1957 the Hot 100 chart had Teddy Bear in the number 1 position, it remained number 1 for seven weeks and stayed on the chart for twenty five weeks, the Country chart had this track at the number 1 slot on June 22nd, and remained on the chart for sixteen weeks. The Rhythm & Blues chart also had the song at number 1 on June 29th, it stayed on this chart for twelve weeks. Loving You was on Billboard's Hot 100 chart on June 19th at the number 28 position and stayed on the chart for twenty two weeks. On June 29th the Rhythm & Blues chart had this song at number 1, where it remained on the chart for twelve weeks.


This was released in the UK by RCA, catalogue No RCA 1013, with a black label with a triangular centre, this 45 reached number 3 in the UK charts when it entered on July 18th 1957.
