One Night numbered 4 on the Hot 100 chart on November 16th 1958, it remained on the chart for seventeen weeks. On December 28th the Country chart listed the song at number 24, and remained on the chart for three weeks, this track held the number 10 slot on the Rhythm & Blues chart on November 23rd where it stayed for fifteen weeks. Billboard listed I Got Stung at number 8 on November 9th 1958, it remained on this chart for sixteen weeks.


Entering January 29th 1959 by RCA in the UK, this 45 reached number one on the UK chart, it has a black label and a triangular centre, catalogue No. RCA 1100. This was the last Elvis record to be released as a 78.
