A Fool Such As I entered Billboard's Hot 100 chart on March 10th 1959 in the number 2 slot, it stayed on the chart for fifteen weeks, on April 19th this song held the number 16 position on the Rhythm & Blues chart, where it stayed for the next seven weeks. Billboard listed I Need Your Love Tonight on it's Hot 100 chart on April 5th at the number 4 slot and it remained on this chart for thirteen weeks.


This entered the UK by RCA on April 30th 1959,and reached number one on the UK chart, the difference between the US and UK 45's is that the UK 45 has A Fool Such As I as the A-side, this has a black label and a triangular centre, and later released with round centers, catalogue No. RCA 1113.

Re-released by RCA Records on 45 RPM on the Gold Standard Series label.
