"U.S. Male" entered the Country chart on February 1968 at the number 55 slot and stayed on the chart for six weeks. The Hot 100 list posted the song at the number 28 position on March 23rd, it remained on this chart for nine weeks. On March 16th 1968 "Stay Away" entered Billboard's Hot 100 chart at number 67 and stayed on the list for five weeks.

May 19th 1968 was the release date of this 45 in the UK (RCA 1688), it would enter the chart on May 21st 1968 and it would peak at the number 15 slot the UK chart.
